Get a free supply of COVID-19 tests for your community

Through a partnership between the Washington State Department of Health and Health Commons Project, WA COVID-19 provides First Responders in Washington state with free, COVID-19 tests for their communities. Our support services help you manage inventory, organize test distribution, and provide education on testing and follow-up care. We also can help your agency access state funding to support your COVID-19 testing programs.

Bring COVID-19 diagnosis to your community

Access to testing can be difficult and time-consuming for some of your most vulnerable community members, including:

People at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 because of underlying health conditions or age

People at higher risk for COVID-19 exposure because of living situations

People disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 because of access barriers, systemic inequities, and racism

Knowing COVID-19 status can help save lives

Add COVID-19 tests to your toolbox

Just like smoke detectors, blood pressure checks, and EKGs, COVID-19 tests are a critical tool in the First Responder toolbox. Bring tests on calls, distribute them at community events, or have a fresh stock of take-home tests available at the station for visitors.

Educate your community about testing and follow-up care.

We provide resources and one-to-one technical assistance to help you educate community members on why testing matters and how they can test themselves for COVID-19. Knowing when to isolate, especially when other vulnerable individuals may be involved, is critical to protecting community health.
